I'm repairing a Scour Kleen which rotted out due to mouse nests around the screen and the lower auger U- trough. As such I need to replace the lower auger flighting. The flighting is 1" high, mounts on a 5/8" shaft and measures 3.25" between the flighting.
Having not been able to find any replacement material I contacted a local auger manufacturing firm. They can turn a minimum of 5' at the rate of $25/foot. I need 22" which will ruin 2'.
Is there anyone else out there who would like to share in the cost of having 5-6" made?
I also have a local source for reproduction screens if anyone needs them.
