What weight engine oil should I use in my 45? I know the manual says SAE 30, but I'm guessing that's only because they only has straight viscosities back then. I'm running 10W-30 right now, but I've had some people say I should still only use straight 30 weight.

10W-30 is a fine oil. Use it.

I have used 10W-30 for years with no problems.

The 10w-30 is fine.  If the engine is a little "loose," a 15w-40 would be good also.
