I accidently put both lip seals faceing the rear of the tractor and the book says to have them faceing eachother. Will it be ok?

If you're talking about the foot clutch seals, both should be facing rearward (spring towards the rear).

Or are you talking about the seals on the transmission input shaft right behind the Power Director clutch pack?  If you want to keep the transmission and PD fluids separate, it might be important...  Some folks leave these out and treat the transmission, PD, and hydraulic compartments as one.  If you have a PD filter like the Series 3 and later, that's probably OK, but I might be nervous about clutch pack shavings getting into the hydraulic system.

Yep those are what I'm talking about. As long as it doesn't leak is what matters.
