I have a 6060 that has started jumping out of 1st gear when under load. Never heard of these trannies jumping out. Anybody got any recommendations?

Are u positive its going in all the way? ? I bought one that the shifter is a little sloopy, gotta really shove it in there

It feels like it is going all the way in, and the shifter isn't sloppy. Just the opposite of the hundred series which stay in gear when pulling, but jump out when backing off from a pull. Have you checked the tapered pin that goes into the side (left) of the shift tower? If it is worn or has backed out part way it will cause the sloppiness you mentioned.
