When I try and star my B I pull out the starter switch and push the starter, and it won't start. The engine starts turning over, but the tractor wont start until I move the starter forwards and backwards a little bit. Is this because I don't have enough power comingt from the battery? I have the charger on the battery now, it has been running dead for a while, or do I just need a new starter? All help Appreciated, Thanks!

You might want to take the starter out and clean the the area on the starter and the bell housing where they contact each other. This is what grounds the starter and if it gets rusty  or painted up, your ground to the starter will be bad and you won't get enough juice to the starter to wing it over.Any bad connections from the starter to ground or battery cables will cause a higher draw on the battery robbing the points of needed spark power. That is if you have a distributor ignition.

Have the Battery draw tested to make sure the power source is good also. Could be something as simple as a bad battery......
