I just want to say a huge thank you to Steve Jelfs for helping me with my Tractor problems!!! I have learned a whole lot through this process and it's still not over, but the end is in sight!

.It started with needing a clutch. When we split the tractor for that, the drive line came forward with the engine... so now it has been split at the rear and we put in a "new" shaft in the transmission because it had slipped when the cotter pin came out and ground off the splines on the "old" one. Luckily, I had a few I could choose from and I haven't had to buy any parts as of yet...

There is nothing like spending a day with friends, working on a tractor!

And now you have a much greater understanding of the "workins" of your tractor!!

I'll third that, spent a day and half with Don Dittmar, his dad and uncle putting brakes on my WD45. Both pins were not coming out by trying everything including drilling and taping, slide hammer, you name it. Thanks again Don.

i'm about to face the same issue - double split to get the drive shaft back where it belongs - so i appreciate the picture.  now if i could just borrow steve for a day or so...  :)
and i agree with B26240.  nice to be more familiar with how everything works.  a neighbor gave me a small but useful old sears suburban which is now almost completely apart, cleaning and painting as i go.  learning a lot in the process.  hope to do the same soon to a B and make bill long smile...

52 CA, 41 B and a little B1    oh, yeah... and an 8N ford snuck in there, too.
