I have a D14 that has about 150 hours on a complete overhaul.Tractor ran great till lately but now the warmer it gets the more choke I have to use to keep it running good. After it warms up it will only run with choke on then after awhile i have to go to full choke.I have checked everthing i can think of tryed it with 2 new carburators same thing.I was thinking maybe a crack it manifold that the crack gets opens more the warmer it gets.Open to any ideals anyone has on this matter. Thanks Mike

I would warm it up and spray some carb cleaner around the manifold. If the engine speed changes, you have a leak that needs fixed. It is possible to have an internal crack between the exhaust and intake that opens up with heat. Have you checked for good fuel supply from the tank all the way to the carb bowl? Any obstruction in the fuel system could cause the symptoms but usually not as it heats up??????????

Check the air cleaner.  It could be plugged up.

Mike; if it has an intake manifold leak, the engine will rev up a bit as it aspirates the combustable spray through a crack. Larry

If the air cleaner was plugged, he wouldn't have to choke it to keep it running,  it would already be choked??????????????????
