getting the D-15 II ready for the tractor ride this weekend. Its gonna be in camden NY. Last year I was a passenger since my hand was still messed up from the woodsplitter episode. wish I could retire it as a loader tractor but havnt found an affordable replacement yet. Ill try to post pics soon. Brian S

Use my 15 II all the time in Tractorrides. Can't out run the Farmalls, but can keep away from the 2 bangers. The orange also breaks up the red and green nicely lol

Might sound like a stupid question but what is a tractor ride? I have never heard of one before. I just bought a d15 yesterday and if Brians is as noisy as mine he better wear ear plugs if the ride involves going very far in high gear.

John, tractor ride is kind of self explanatory (a bunch of people going for a tractor ride down the road). If your D15 is really noisy, how is the muffler? Even with a cheap Ford muffler, mine is as quiet as any of my other gassers. 2 D14s and a D17.

I kind of thought thats what it was, just never heard of anything like that unless it was part of an event like a parade or farm show. I now remember reading about a bunch of kids going to there highschool prom in tractors. The noise I was talking about is from the rear end. Mine is very noisy and others have said the same of ther D15.

Mine has some noise, but not enough to be disturbing. Riding is a great way to see the countryside at 12 mph. Except if it's raining, snowing, a cold chilling wind. or temps approaching 100 lol

This ride is sponsored by a tractor club in Camden NY. Last year I beleive we went ten miles out to a fellow who has a private meuseum , had lunch and then after words about eight miles back by a different route. Nice folks. all sorts of makes and models of tractors. Kind of an average speed since many tractors were smaller and slower. Covered dish supper in evening after tractors are all loadeded for trip home. Weather should be great. I hope to get pictures to share. Brian S

Oh yeah, forgot to mention several AC diehards also caravaned about 40 miles to get to the tractor ride last year. and then the other 40 miles back home. :)
