Will a 12 volt Gen. off of a John deere work on a CA? Thanks

It may if you can get the longer chassis of the 12V unit to fit under or along side of the drag link without interference. You'll have to do some fabricating for the brackets...

If you do use it make sure you match a regulator that goes to that gen. # on the tag .
