Finished planting Saturday (for the most part still have 1/2 acre left).  The "new" John Deere planter is a super nice unit to use compared to a plate planter.  Seed salesman told us 5mph is magic number on corn beans could be more (operators manual agrees), but I just stuck with 5 mph even on the beans.  Came out perfect on population.  Did have a problem with two bean units breaking the drives off, but we had a couple of extra spares.  Once all the bugs were worked out I could really move.
