HI

I am wondering what my 1956 D14 might be worth.  It really is in great shape, original decals still there, runs like a top, minor dents, no rust, i believe it has always been under cover and well taken care of. Has a 3 pt hitch and i have the original eagle claws. Rear tires are real nice as well, i know those cost a bundle. The next nice day i will try to post some photos although i couldn't do it last time i tried, file too large.  The clutch is slipping pretty badly, i am quoted $1,500.00 to 1,800.00 to replace clutch.  I also have another 1956 D14 in rougher shape, but would sell it along with the good one.  I think the right guy could make a real show piece out of this one with minimal work.  It also has a loader in great shape.  I have the original delivery documents and owners manual, parts manual and service manual to go with it.  Looks like most of the original stuff is on it, headlights, gas caps, all that type of stuff.
Any idea of what she is worth?  Thanks for the help.  Denno

I've got a couple D-14s,and are 'daily drivers' so won't win any awards at the fall fairs. What anything is worth depends upon the buyer's 'need' for it as well as what other tractors are sellng for(NOT asking prices !!).
Man, wish I could get $1,000 for doing a clutch job !Having just done a ringgear I know what's involved and could do it in about 4 hours.
Any good running tractor should fetch $2,000,though $1,500-$1,800 might be realistic.Heck, a 'good' lawn tractor costs more than that these dayze!!

D-14 came out in 1957 instead of 1956.
