I don't have the traction booster gauge so I was wondering if the traction booster will still work? Also is there a knob to turn on traction booster or lock it out?

Yea it will work with a gauge. There is a knob on the pump where the TB link hooks to pump to lock it out. Lock it out any time you are not using TB. MAACK
