Had problems with the tranny oil fill tube wanting to pop put of the top of the tranny when we checked level so I replaced the tube. When I put the dipstick in the new filler tube it felt loose so I got the micrometer out and it mic's 1.250 the old one mic's 1.240 any ideas on how to get it to fit right?

Should include it's on a black belly 7080.

Pull the tube out and find a socket with some taper on end. Drive it into tube to swell it out. I have a SK 13/16 that works good. MACK
