I've searched for over an hour and can't find anyplace that actually sells t rod manure spreader apron chain. Any ideas where to get it ? Need to educate myself on the sizes and what's available. Got a little ground drive JD spreader and it's gonna need chain soon. Thanks for any info.

We got a new web for our JD spreader from Mullet's Machinery & Parts in Indiana. They are Amish and do not have a web site. We got ours shipped to us and is good quality.

Their contact info.

Also if you get the rod style it will have to be tighter than the standard web links or it will slip over the sprockets, but no big deal once you get it tight.

Did you try a JD dealer? I needed a chain for my 1939 JD potato digger, and the JD dealer had it.
I have an AC spreader and the Agco dealer had them in stock. I also weld up some of them that broke. Bob

Shoupparts.com or shoup manufacturing, I bought T-bar apron there for my spreader.

Thank you for that link to Shoup.  I knew they existed, but forgot to think of them when I did a search.  Big difference spending $900 from the NH dealer when Shoup offers it for $489.  I have a 125 spreader and don't do a lot of hauling, so low price and good quality are pretty equal factors.
