It's a bit rough-looking, but I dragged WC 105498 home from the Larry Stephen auction yesterday. It ran really well and when I came back to pick it up (thanks to Larry, Pat, and all of the guys that helped get it started) Larry told me that the engine had been rebuilt by the local Massey dealership before he got it and hadn't done much work since then. It does have a mud scraper, a new 6-volt battery and the lights still work. The fenders are rough and it's missing the PTO shaft and drawbar. The fenders will do for now and the shaft and drawbar should be pretty cheap. I need to inquire about a fencerow WC a mile away that has those parts. I think something (cultivator or sickle mower) had been mounted on it. Now I wish I had picked up the WC sickle mower, but it sold before I bought this tractor. I think it went for about $45. And I tell you what, there is absolutely no give in that seat spring for a 125lb guy! I bounced pretty high a few times driving over repaired patches in the asphalt. Reaching the left brake handle is a bit of a stretch, too. Looks like at one time it had a mounted corn picker attached to it. Thats what the brackets are for, that are bolted on next to the fenders. Probably why there is no drawbar assembly also.

I am only familiar with it from putting a picker on a WD, which is not much different than the WC and they both use the same picker.
