On a 180 when you put the PTO in gear it pops back out if there is a load on it ie. bushhog but if there is no load on it it will stay in gear. whats wrong? thanks for any ideals. Tom

I bet there is an ear broke off the part inside the powerdirector housing on the linkage that slides the coupler to connect the shafts , go to Agco parts and check it out ; i had the same problem , that was the fix

Linkage is the start of the problem. Don't engauge all the way then wears the front end splines off of pto shaft.  MACK

Yeah mine did exactly what Mack Said.  Linkage gets worn, and the arm on the outside of the shaft can get a slight bend in it also.  I just lengthened the bottom linkage about 2 inches and works like a gem now.
