Have a can of Van Sickle Persian Orange #2 paint I just started using a week or so ago. Been painting a couple of items as the weather would allow. Stored the can inside when I wasn't using it. Took it out for some second & third coats on the parts I was spraying, and it wouldn't spray. Tried to clean the nozzle with a pin and pulled it off to clean. Still, no luck. Any suggestions? Still half full so don't want to give up on it. Thanks, Dave

Only two things it could be

It is plugged or out of aerosol if it the latter your done.

Do you have another can you can steal the tip from? I have done that once before. Use gloves and old clothes incase you don't push straight down. I didn't have a problem but better safe then sorry.

Did you turn it upside down and hold the button for a second or 2 when you finished painting each time? I would put the nozzle in paint thinner for a few minutes and try to clean it out with some air.

Yeah, put the nozzle in paint thinner to try to clean it out. No, neglected to turn it upside down when I was done painting last time, but I was using it so regularly, didn't think about doing that. I do have another nozzle I'll try. Thanks, Dave

I clean them with starting fuild and a blast of air from the compresser. I have even shot the can with starting fuild to break up the crud inside. WARNING NO SMOKING OR OPEN FLAME OR SPARKS while spraying starting fiuld in the shop, because today is a poor day for dying, and tomorrow doesn't look any better.
