I just remembered my question I had yesterday. Did the XT III have a 2 foot long Allis Chalmers decal across the top of the rear side of fuel tank? or no? Thanks, Dana

Captain:

If your XT has breakaway couplings and have cylinder hangers mounted on the fuel tank , they did not have the allis decal .  I think AC didn't feature those brackets until the last couple of years the XT lll's were built.

It's pushing 55*, but I'm going to wait on the rest of the decals. Put some stuff back on, and have to wait on the seat assembly to dry anyways.

Sure is looking better than it did!

Dana, Your 190XT is moving a lot faster than mine. I'm just trying to get mine to where I can use it this summer. Your's looks great can't wait to see it all together with decals.

The hanger bracket that  I refered to, is a plate that lays over the top of fuel tank  about 10 inches  wide  or so and  hangs down the back and  is mounted to the seat bolts and has two hooks welded to it.  These hooks will support a standard 3 x8 hydraulic  cylinder.   You said your xt has breakaways, but are  they mounted on a plate with short hose or are they threaded  into the ports under the tank.

Maybe someone here could show a picture of what we are talking about.  I think there was a two ten on craigs list or tractor house , I'm not sure, that showed them on a rear view picture.

Richmar my remotes are mounted inline in the ports under the tank but I have no plate with hooks.

As somebody once said,go lock the wife and the dog in the trunk of your car for an hour, then notice which one is glad to see you when you open it!
