piping question. Is there any sense in insulating the intake pipe from the front filter back to the turbine to keep any heat away from warming the piped air or would this issue be negligable? Also what kind/ brand of insulation have y'all used in that cradle/pocket where the air intake tube passes very near the top corner of the radiator? Thanks, Dana

I would say no, probably 98% of the heat that goes into the intake, is post turbo, where it is pressurized. It may help a tiny tiny bit, but the hassle of messing with insulation is probably not worth it. Unless you plan to pull this tractor, and run it on exotic fuels, I don't think you would ever see a difference. The only time I have ever seen the intake insulated anywhere is in the pits at the pulls.

OB I was thinking probably around the 98% also. But it's fun to hear others thoughts instead of pondering alone. Thanks!
