Can anyone help me identify this plow?  I will try to get better pictures later.  It followed me home today.  It appears to have red paint under the green and yellow paint on the wheels.  It is BIG.  Thanks,
  Joe

Looks like what we used to call a land breaker plow. Used to plow land that had never been plowed, or plowed in a long time.

Joe, that is a "IHC No. 459 Tractor Brush Breaker Plow". It was used to plow underbrush, thorns, and other debris from newley cleared land. I have one of these plows with the original owners manual, and sales literature. A statement on the sales brochure says: "Powerful, Single-Bottom Plow For Plowing Underbrush-- Hazel, Blackberry, Cranberry."
Mine has a 20in moldboard. The rolling coulter is about 30in in diameter. The one in your picture does not have extensions on the wheels. Fully equipped, the plow weighs close to 2000lbs.
Don't let the size scare anyone, I pulled mine with my WC, plowing about 8in deep.
Is that one for sale?

Larry, there have been 2 of these plows go through the Y&F yard in Archbold, OH in the past year or so. The last one was painted all blue. the one before that was painted yellow. You must have seen one or both of these.

It might be for the right price.  Any idea what it might be worth?
