I'm thinking of buying a bigger 2600 disc. I have a 17ft now, but its way to small for my tractors. I've got two FWA 8070's and a 7080, would the 32 ft 2600 be too big, and are there any in missouri? Would like to be able to pull it in 4th gear slow side on the 8070 PS. How much are 2600 disc's running for, never did have many in our area.

Alot depends on your soil, depth you want to run, etc. I used to pull a 30' disk in our sandy loam soil with a White 2-150 (150 hp 2 wheel drive) tractor and it did not seem to work it any too hard. I think a 32' disk would be fine behind an 8070 here. I did not find any 32' 2600 disks in MO on tractorhouse, ironsearch or fastline. On my small acreage if I was not no tilling I'd hook your 17' disk up to your 200 and have a ball!

We pull a White 273 24' with our 2 1985 8070's and 1 1980 7080. What years are yours?

At one time I had a 26' wing fold 2600 disc with remlinger harow behind an 8050 fwa, pulled it in low 5. That was a good match. 32 may be a bit much if you plan to work deep.

My brother pulls a 25 ft 2500 (lighter and smaller 22" blades) with a 7060 and gets along fine....a 2600 (24" blades) at 25 ft he would NOT pull well, if at all.

I wouldnt even think of going to the field with anything over a 25 ft with those tractors. The 2600 is a wide spaced disc, and they will plow if you let them in. A 30 ft with big blades on it ,is a good match for the 8550 or 4W305

IG is way right, a 30 plus footer would stop you dead in your tracks. I have a 22 ft Sunflower and that is all the 7060 or 8030 can handle, the 7080 does good with it but to handle it well you wouldn't want any more. I would have no doubt in saying the Sunflower is allot more disc than the 2600.

I dont want to get something i cant pull, but in the old brochures it shows those tractors with at least 24ft behind them. Guess its the type of soil you're in.
