Anybody make a valve spring compressor for working on smaller engine like the N62 Continental ? Mine is just too big to work properly. Any help appreciated. Thanks Tracy Martin

I know my Grandpa had one years ago, he must have had a dozen different valve springs tools. Don't know if any of his tools are left or who got all the good stuff.
Funny, I just opened the valve cover on mine, hoping the gasket would come off and be reusable. It had other ideas. Headed to NAPA to see if they have something like the cork gasket material that was on it. It was leaking so it needed done...

Tracy, search ebay for "valve spring compressor small engine"     The ones for large riding mowers should work.  If you need it quick, I think KD tools makes one and NAPA should be able to get it over night.

This is what I bought from NAPA. I use it on the Gravely walkbehind T-head engines, and it's a little bit small for those big valve springs, but it works. I haven't worked on a G engine but it should handle those springs just fine.
