I'm thinking it is some kind of soil rejuvenation operation....pulling up some of that good soil that is way down deep....and subsoiling/drainage in the process. All the rubber is to help with the compaction as it is obviously very wet conditions.

They are making sod logs Not sure what you call it. I am on I pod so I am having trouble finding that on u tube
