I was working on my 8070 today, and got to thinking a new grill shell would be a good idea, as I'm not keen on baling wire and duct tape holding stuff together. Anyone know if these are still available from Agco, or is there an aftermarket company making them, and what is the cost. I wouldn't be against finding a good used one, either, if someone knows where I could find one. The black mesh part of mine is OK, I mostly need the fiberglass frame part of it. Thanks, Darrel

Agco still has them, I got one included in the deal when I bought my 8070 last year, I needed the mesh too. It won't be cheap but what is? LOL It sure made the tractor look better. I doubt your going to find a used one as they literally seem to take on the chin. You might want to have a body shop look at yours as I've heard of some really ugly ones being repaired.

I think they're pushing $750-$800 new now.

If you've got a little time, buy a couple of fiberglass repair kits. When you're done, take it to a body shop to paint.

The one on my 6080 was in good shape, but had some cracks. Had my body man patch it up and paint it. Good as new.
