Need help with where these bolts go on my D230 engine build. Been over a year since I torn down this engine. Can't find them in my manual anywhere or I over looked them.

Jamie, those bolts hold the camshaft in place.  They go right behind the camshaft drive gear.  You will see the bracket behind the gear.

I just helped a friend assemble a D15 diesel engine and that engine has those same two bolts.
