I am looking for some ideas as to the primer pump on my 190. The old pump seems pretty well shot. would it be best to rebuilt the present one, or some better ideas used by the fine folks on the forum. I have always gooten good advise from you folks, and I thank you.
So please your ideas now

I bypass them , most leak and the fuel will gravity feed to the injector pump anyway

my xt has a electric fuel pump on it cause primer pump went bad

I dont remember what the AGCO cost is on one, but they are pretty high. I have put electric pumps on a 7060 and 2 7045s because the primers started to leak and it penciled out a whole lot cheaper to put electric and a push button on the dash.

If pump advance is not adjusted with electric pimp it will advance pump at start up and idle.

The primer kit is heigh but should last for years. MACK

I believe this is the part number for the repair kit 74063231. I just replaced one in August, I believe the cost was right around $30.

pm injection pump ed, he has the entire unit at a real reasonable price or just the plunger, whichever you need.

I am waiting for the plunger assemblies to come off backorder, but I do have a complete unit on the shelf. $77 plus the ride. I also have a couple used ones off pullers that could be rebuilt. these are roosa master (stanadyne) pump assemblies.

just checked warehouse, they now show 15 in stock, so I will be getting my order in a couple days. pm me if anyone needs the plunger assy, they are $25.

I hate those hand primer pumps, I've never had one last more then three or four strokes, I must be doing something wrong, but I sure don't know what it would be.
