bought a 4 row AC planter at auction last saturday, bought it mostly for the seed boxes, to replace my plastic broken boxes on my 6 row. if anyone needs parts from an air plater let me know. as my 6-row is not an air planter. some parts from it will fit mine, other parts won't. same auction had a 6-30 dutze-allis planter and the AC planter i bought brought more money than it did!

oh...yeah..gonna ask...i drove the 7010 out to bring this planter home and when i got going down the road....all of a sudden the tractor took off almost across the road...all by itself!! (time to fart) got it back under control, slowed down and it wanted to do this alot! i stopped thinking it must be low on fluid or something, checked the site glasses...and it was a little low, but could see it splashing up into the site glasses...was gonna going thru town so i stopped at the farm store and bought a 2 gallon jug of fluid, put it in and that seemed to help. didn't have that problem all the way to the auction site about 20 miles away. but on the way home with the planter in top...it happened again! but only once!! what do ya'll suppose?? i was glad each time there were no cars beside me!

My 200 did that once. I had just had the Hyd. steering motor rebuilt and put back on which was a real B with an itch. So I took it back off and took it back to hyd. shop and after a couple days they said it was ready to go. Put it back on and it was worse. I wound up going to a AC dealer and getting  a used one. I put a new oil seal in the top of it and it has worked perfect for probably for 15 years now.
