Subject: Need help to ID some equipment

For family history I'd like to ID the equipment in these two pictures. My older brother is three and dad must be 30 at this time. This is 10 years before I came along. I can barely remember the combine and the tractor. I believe the tractor is a John Deere A. Have no clue on the combine. This was the first and only green tractor that dad bought. After this came the WD-45 and all orage from then on. Dad, mom and my brother are gone now so can't ask them. Thanks Charlie. I'm using the uploader thats built into this site that uploads the image right from my computer. Done this many times before but have not used my wife's scanner before so I think that is where the problem might be. I'll try again later but now I need to go out and shoot another coat of clear on the Ferguson. Might also be the problem of trying to do too many things at a time.
