On the road again, this time tractor spotting in Greece (also a little work).  Nothing so far except a little Kubota.  I will keep you posted.
Cheers,
Creek

I was stationed in Greece, near Athens, 42 years ago.  Never saw any Orange tractors (no Kubotas back then) but did see lots of MF's.   Remember driving by a field being plowed with a 135 and a 3 bottom plow - with a horse plow chained to the end of the 3 pt plow.   Grandpa was running the horse plow, son on the tractor.  Think I took a picture.  Also used to see lots of small crawlers, Lamborghini's and Fiat's.  The guys would bolt a truck wheel onto the drive sprocket on each side and had a single "crazy wheel" under the front.  They would cruse on down the road between fields.  Lots of rocks in every field I saw there.

Would love to see pictures or video of one of those crawlers with wheels, John!

I'm north of Athens about 2-3 hours near Lamia.  Doing cooling system testing on a new truck with a Cummins QSM11.  Looks like we might get done faster than expected so I might get to head home early.  No plans to go anywhere but the Athen airport and home.
I did spot an MF sitting in a driveway in a small town today, took a couple shots, I'll post them later.  Saw a tractor repair/sales center on the way to the worksite this morning, I'll see if I can stop in there later this week and take a pic.
cheers,

Creek

When I was in Greece, the Athens airport (and US Air Force base) was just over the hill from our site, just south of downtown along the coast.  Was looking at Google Earth the other day.  The old airport is now part of where the Olympics were held.  The new airport is in what used to be the fields we drove through, just a few miles east of where I was.  Can't find our site in the picture, they must block military installations.

Managed to get done early so I am headed home today.  Here are pics of the MF I saw the other day. Sorry about the fence.  Found a tractor dealer yesterday, I'll download those pics when I get home.
Cheers,
Creek

Here are better pics of the little Renault - hay it's orange anyway!  I didn't get much of a chance to look around for more tractors but that is the way it goes.  Greece overall was a pretty nice place, friendly peeple.
