Make a loud grunt from time to time when i use them. Especially the  right one. Had them all out and apart, pads look fairly new,, drums worn evenly. Would brake lubricant take care of this noise?

Are you sure it's not the locks slipping on the spin-out rails?

With new brakes, you may be putting more pressure on them than before.
Of course, you should get a similar sound when you go forward if there is any load
or the clutch is released aggressively.

Just a thought!
