I've been looking at new Westendorf loaders for one of my tractors. It appears that the Westendorf is quite a bit earier to mount and dismount and you don't have that massive mast starting you in the face when the loader is off the tractor and the booms appear that they ride lower.. improving visibilitry. I've looked at Deere, Bush Hog and Allied... seems that the Westendorf is the best of the lot... maybe a bit more expensive, but seems worth the price. ... comments???

Westendorfs are great. Easy on and off. You won't be disapointed .

I own a westendorf TA-26 on one of my 190xt's and love it. One of my lift cylinders leaks a little, so I'll reseal it this summer sometime. Local AGCO dealer sells parts for them said it was $45 for a seal kit. Not too bad compared to some I've replaced over the years. My father has a TA-26 on his 190xt also, had it over 12 years already without a single problem. I bought mine used for $2500. New ones ranged in the $6500 plus range

We also have a TA-26 loader. Came off of a 190XT and we put it on our 185. It is an excellent loader. Easy to take off and put back on, and changing from a bucket to bale spear, etc is very easy. For a short arm loader, you will be very satisfied. We paid $3000 for ours which included a bucket and bale spear.
