The rear end in a D15 diesel does it have the same drive ratio as a gas D15 series I or II.
Has anyone taken a diesel engine out of a series I D15 and installed it in a D15 series II gas . Were would you split the diesel engine?

I bought a D-15 D series I with a bad transmission in your country a few years ago. Bolted in a good D-14 trans and rear end. Second gear had different part numbers but the D-14 was up dated to the D-15 number in the book. The input shaft into the clutch will likely be different in the diesel. It is for a D-17 gas/diesel. We married the two just ahead of the transmission.
