Any idea why the tractor won't move unless the differencials are locked in??

Just a guess but a broken axle? What ever it is, it is at or after the differencial.

 I'd get it where you can drain the oil out of the three drain plugs to the rearend and pay attention to how much shrapnel is on each drain plug. If either of the two outside plugs are full of iron, you may have a final drive that has failed ? which would be rare. If you have to lock the differential with the foot pedal to move, I'd just guess and say maybe all the ring gear bolts must be loose and sheared off?? quit using it NOW.....get it where you can drain the oil to the rearend and remove the left hand differential filter assembly completely and look inside......you'll see bolt heads on the rearend case floor??
