Anybody know someone who could fix a broken grill shroud on a 6080. I think that's what u call it - the fiberglass part around the grill. Here's a picture of the broken one

| I have repaired the fiberglass grill on several of the 5040s because they fell off alot. It is not hard at all, go to any NAPA and get a fiberglass repair kit, mesh, resin,etc. Sand the area to be worked on enough to scuff up, cut the mesh over lap the repair area, make sure you have sanded an area larger than the mesh that you cut, mix up enough hardener to apply over the mesh to create good adhesion. Several applications will be needed depending on the damage. Sand to finish (200-400 grit) Paint with desired finish. |
