Does anyone know where I could find the gears for the back-side of the alternator for the tachometer for a 190XT III?

Thanks

Reed

You can get the entire drive assembly from AGCO in their Heritage parts catolag. They do not offer just the gears, but I wouldn't think it would cost all that much, but you never know.  Part#----70246764V

From what I have been told, the drive assembly has the incorrect gear in it, so they do not read correctly.  I have been looking high and low for one for my 180 also.  There was talk of agrimson tool company making a correct tooth gear out of steel.

My 190XTIII tach goes up to about 2500 just a little off of idle. Any idea what would be causing that?

The complete tach drives are no longer avaible from AGCO for the ALLIS CHALMERS tractors, but the small gear and fiber gear are avaible for the MASSEY FERGUSON tractors . The 1100 MASSEY FERGUSON uses this set up, the rpms will be off a little.
