Does anyone know a cross reference number for the oil filter for a 175 Cubic Inch Diesel?

I thought it was the FL1A, but it is not... The old one I took off is so old there are no markings or #'s left on it..

All i can find in the manuals are original part numbers... There must be a aftermarket replacement?

This might help all in the future. www.fram.com Go to parts catalog and keep digging until you find your model, there is a competitor crossover reference charts there.

The 175 diesel is the same as the D17-D19 diesels isn't it?

I guess I was thinking filters. I knew the sleeves/pistons were the same. Do they use the same filters?
