I've got an old D-17 III with 417 loader, but it is sitting in a shed with a shot motor waiting to be rebuilt.  I don't have a shop right now & want to wait until I can do the work on it myself in a year or two (or maybe three or four).  Anyway, I am looking at getting a slightly larger tractor anyway & was wondering if anyone thinks this loader might fit on either a 180 or 185 with minimal modifications?  I imagine the big issues would be loader frame size going from a 4 cylinder to 6 cylinder tractor as well as the hood width on the 180 tractors, wouldn't it?

For anyone wanting to know, I hope this isn't a 'hit-and-run' forum post from me.  I'm a long time lurker & finally just got around to registering here on the new forum (I know it's a couple of years late!).  My father & I have a small beef operation here in NE Alabama.  No running A-C's in our operation, but I hope to change that in the next few months.

Thanks again for any input anyone can offer,
Andy
