You know, I started this annual message of appreciation when I first found and participated in this site around 1997. Since that time I have been an active participant and an avid backer of the Unofficial Allis Chalmers Forum. I have been delighted to meet some of you at the GOTO's in Westminster, New York, Union Bridge, and at other local shows and displays. Indulge me again and let me take this opportunity on my 78th Birthday to thank each and every one for what you have done and continue to do to keep the name of Allis Chalmers alive. Let me wish all my Allis Chalmers friends a Very Merry Christmas and a Very Happy New Year. Good Luck! Bill Long

Happy Birthday sir! Thank you so much for everything you have shared and done for this community. It's people like you that keep us all coming back. Just to know that you were there and had so many enjoyable experiences growing up around an AC dealership helps some of us remember when this was a happier, more positive place to live and work. It also helps keep that attitude and mindset alive, when there is so much negativity out there.
Congratulations on another birthday, and may you have many more sir!

Mr. Bill Long, now is as good a time as any to write this message that I can never write enough; We owe so much to YOU as YOU are the true one keeping the Allis history alive by sharing first-hand experiences from a perspective not very many can. You always keep each and every one of us entertained, educated, and on our toes and for that I am appreciative. I have never met you in person, and I although I have tried in the past, I am going to try harder then ever to get to see you, because to shake the hand of someone of your stature would surely be an honor. I love each and every one of your stories you have to share with us, and not a day goes by on this forum or just talking allis with someone else that I don't pass on a piece of an allis lesson that originally came from you. Thank you SO MUCH for all that you do for this little community! Once again, from one "B" guy to another, thanks for keeping my favorite (both Orange and B) Alive! Heres to Bill Long!!!
