Went out to look at the 190 XT gas. It looked pretty rough but for the right price I'd have brought it home. I was high bidder at $2000, but a mistery bidder bumped it to $2250, I wouldn't bite at $2300 so the old #57 bought it. That means it will be at the March auction. There was a D 14 and a190 XT deisiel not advertised. The other 190 XT was painted up and sounded good but in high range the tractor wouldn't move so I wasn't interested. The 200 went to Conn with an AC/ Oliver puller for $2800. The two 5040's went reasonable, the 8010 fwd was pretty worn out with 10k hours but was sold at $6200. The d14 ended up here in Podunk for $1300 and a snap coupler blade for $200, so it was a good day. Three point on the 14 but no drawbar, clutch won't disengage but decent tires and fair paint, so I'm fairly happy with it.

Thanks for the post, I was planning to attend but had family obligations. Was there any bite to the wind up there... those December auctions can be rough!

As usual it was cold and windy at 7 and didn't get any better as the day went on. The salamander at the snack bar was popular. I usually dress for 20 degrees colder than I think it will be and haven't got frost bit so far.

Thanks for sharing, podunkpuller. I always enjoy hearing auction results from around the country, especially if orange is involved.Darrel

Podunk that 14 was sweet and original! Of course I had a flight the day before and auction day so I wasn't there. I didn't know about the XT III either but come to find out my friend bought it for $3500. I had actually driven that XT a month ago and was also scared of the high range issue. My buddy will have that fixed in no time.
