The clutch pedal goes to the bottom, any adjustment or is it clutch time? I don't know if it slips or difficult to get in gear, friend has it in shop to repair.

Throwout brg sleeve may have rotated due to loose hardware on the fork. ...probably takes a split to fix this. Throwout brg failure and ate it's way thru the fingers....split to fix. The clutch pedal rod may have pushed thru the trunnion....a fine threaded nut on the rod will fix this easily...no splt.  If it has 3000 or more hrs on it it might need a clutch anyway.

Had a Series IV couple of years ago with a low clutch pedal, didn't happen all at once but after a couple of days using the tractor the pedal became so low that couldn't get i in gear anymore.  Split the tractor and found the Clutch Lever had cracked.  When clutch pedal was depressed it wasn't moving the release bearing collar far enough to disengage the clutch.  Clutch Lever AGCO Part # 70242463 was still available from AGCO.  It takes a Qty. of 2 parts that get bolted together.
