I went to my local Agco dealer for a spring for the hydraulic lever, about 3.25" long, They floored me with the price $24.90 + tax. However it is original stock with an original Allis Chalmers Mfg, Tractor Branch, Part identification  tag on it, listing the part as 228219. It is one of the old IBM punch cards. If any of you serious collectors are interested in it, I'll sell it for what I paid + the ride.
Thanks
Bob

What's common today is sought after many years later. I have several qt oil cans that some say fetch big dollars on eek-bay.
