Well I bought a nice loader tractor finally, and sorry it's off color but could pass it up for it's low hours and extremely good condition. The loader is a 47 JD and come off very quickly but I would like some kind of bucket quick attach. I am familiar with the skid steer QA and I am not impressed after they get some wear the latches can come undone, not to mention if the implement gets tweaked latching can be a real pain.

Plan is to have a bucket, forks, and a bale spear.

I have studied lots of other systems such as sur-lock, global/euro, and westendorf snap attach. The sur lock looks like it could have alignment issues as well.

The westendorf looks like the best solution but is not common. Any opinions on it? Would be nice to only get off to unhook instead of again to latch. Looks like it will self align better and the bottom latch is protected from mud better.

The global patten appeals to me as it looks like a good setup and is more than likely going to be the 3 point of loader attachments. I looked at several new tractors with it a the local dealership.
Has anyone used the global in mud and snow? Anyone know of adapters for pin on to global? What about weld on brackets for the buckets/attachments?

Thankyou for your advice/experience

I have been using a skid steer QA for about 5 years, and have had no problems.  I do some maintainance about twice a year by blowing it out with air and keeping it greased.  I like it because I have so many options of buckets and things available.

thinking out loud...
Do you have any neighbours nearby that have similar attachments that you might want to borrow in the future? It'd be easy if you were compatible with them !
Neighbour has the 'other orange' excavator and the locking pin is hydraulic. Never has to get off machine to change buckets.Nice option.
