So, I got the D19 back together.   Previous owner had a front pump mounted on it with a diverter valve by the existing pump.   The front pump was removed by the diverter valve is still there and plumbed in.   Just making sure, but it appears that the two lines that come from the back just get plumbed back into the pump where they are and nothing crazy.   Also, does the hydraulic pump share the same reservoir as the power director clutch on a D19?   Because there is no fluid in the power director right now either and there is a spot on the right side where the dipstick for the pump would be like on a D15/17 etc. but the spot has a plug capping it off, and the dipstick for the power director says check with rams extended.   I would like to get all the lines in the right spot and it all filled up so I can take it for a spin this afternoon and see what else I can find wrong with the rear end/tranny.

That front pump and diverter valve was a factor dealer installed option for the 19's. I have a partial set up on mine. If you do end up removing the diverter valve I would be interested in the parts.

Sorry I was in a hurry to get to my nieces 5th birthday party and didn't answer the Hyd reservoir question. Yes the PD and Hyd are the same reservoir on a 19 similar to the later 17's.
