Anybody have a patch kit... I had a blowout!  But seriously, has anyone done a similar repair on a steel wheel?  Finding a donor rim for a 'patch' is difficult.  Any ideas?  I may just go back with flat steel and not worry about the lip.  Oh, and I need one lug if anyone has a spare.

A while back it was brought up that someone should sacrifice a rear set of steel so everyone else could complete their sets, it seems several people are missing a lug or two. I have 3 sets and of course I put the 2 best ones on my B and C but I have a set with lugs about like yours or a little better that I would tear down if there was enough interested parties. Then I could sell a good wheel without lugs also. Any thoughts or suggestions on that idea?

Lonnie, I replied to the new topic you started too... I think you'd be a good man to sacrifice a set to help others... you'd probably have enough lugs to fill almost everyone's needs for years to come.  Based on the condition of mine, they'd probably be better suited to sacrifice than yours, unfortunately the lugs are pretty worn and might not be good enough for some folks.
