I was plowing yesterday and hit a tough spot that raised the front end pretty high before I could hit the clutch. When it came down I noticed that the front end was about 20 degrees out of square. I don't have any pictures yet but it looks like I snapped the pin that comes off of the lateral bracing which goes into the yoke underneath the engine. I am guessing I will have to remove the front end and cut a new pin and weld it back but I thought I would ask if anyone else had a suggestion or experience with this before I go too far. I believe the pin is a 7/8" square head bolt with the square head welded to the wishbone. Should be an easy fix.

Thanks for the info. I wasn't able to find the pin and was not sure what to replace it with. If it's just a welded bolt that might not be too bad. I wonder if I could drive it out of the field like this and just weld in a new one without taking it all apart?

I have a WD45 with a three bolt wide front, I cut off the bolt and replaced it with a 1" grade 8. Mine was very worn and so was the hole it goes into (not round) so I drilled it out to 1"

If it is the rear pin I wouldn't drive it, as the front end will fall out from undernieth it, those two pivot points are all that hold the front end under this tractor. I would try and chain the front end forward around the bolster and then back home very slowly. Keep in mind that the front end may be resting up against the crank pully not good. I don't remember what clearance is under there if the rear bracket is not connected. Also chain the rear of the front end, so it doesn't drop down, while moving and bend a whole bunch of other stuff.
