The Orange Crush 180 light super stock tractor had a great season. My daughter in law Traci did the driving this year and let me tell you that she has no fear as I have seen this tractor on only 1 wheel. At our banquet on Nov 5th she was presented a plaque  for "Most Improved Puller" which was voted on by all of our members. I am very proud of her and our Orange tractors. Here is a link to a charity pull we did at Reading, Ks for tornado relief fundraiser on Oct 1st.  My son Jason is driving. Congratulations! The Girls & Woman drivers have no fear it seems. My youngest daughter is that way. Have always wanted a D-21 puller but $$$ haven't allowed one yet! Maybe have to settle for a mini D-21 puller.

great job JERE! As well as Traci & Jason! Am I correct in understanding, your 2 tractors went 1 & 2? Couldn't happen to better folks. Ed.

Thanks Ed, Yes we finished 1-2. I am glad you came to Cole Camp, Mo for our first hook of the season. I think both of us would not have thought this would happen with the tough competition out there. And 427, we run 347 cubes, Indy billet aluminum heads and 3 chargers with 3 pressure stages. The Orange Crush will run 170-180 boost and the Smokin Assets will run 180-200 lbs boost. We  run a tie bolt system on them to keep block in 1 piece. Have only split 1 block so far. We do all our own engine work and design. That alone gives us much satisfaction to take a 45 year old engine design and compete with the newer better designed Cummins engines . By the way, we spin 6000-6500 rpm to turn the 3.9 top chargers and keep them lit. May try a 4.1 next year. Thanks for the interest.
