I have a 6-18 2000 auto reset plow that I originally bought for parts, but it could be rebuilt.  Is this something the 7060 would handle in medium to heavy soils??  Thanks, guys.

I pull an IH #720 5/16 plow 9"deep in heavy clay in 5th gear with my 7060PS,have power to spare, all depends on your soil.

They say you need 20 horsepower for each plow plus a little more breathing room so the 7060 is rated at about 136 drawbar horsepower 6x20=120 with 16 horsepower to spare it should pull it in your soil

Back in the day I plowed with a 7060 and 7 bottom IH plow in medium to heavy soil on flat land day in and day out no problem.  That was near my grandpas in MI and now I live in WI and it's hilly and I'd take a bottom off hear but even six bottoms hear would be fine I'd think.

Dad had 6-16 on our 7030. Said it pulled it just fine.

My brother used to work for a guy back in the 70's that had a new 7030 that he pulled 6-16's with.

We used D21's weighted heavy to test the 8 bottom MonoFrame plows in heavy clay soils.  Of course, 2nd gear didn't last very long.

A good 7060 should be just fine with a 6 bottom plow.

I have the same combination and it works great.   I don't get in a hurry.  It runs in 2nd low at a depth of 9-10" deep in silty clay loam.  I use the floor shifter on the ends to shuttle across the land to the other returning furrow.  My 2000 monobeam has 32" clearance that works good in corn stalks.
