I have been looking around for an All-Terrain type forklift, but havent been having any luck. I am primarily wanting to unload seed pallets, and be able to pick up and move things like combine headers without having to hook up. I saw an IH 2350 that is supposed to lift something like 5000 lbs "Breakout force" and 3500 to the full height. I think that weight range would suit my needs. I dont know what brackets (if any) come with it, but can it be modified to fit an Allis tractor? My main possibilities would probably be 190 XT, 210, or 7045. Anyone have one or use one? I've adapted several different brand loaders to different brand tractors. I haven't done the one in question though. The main thing to check is the frame width of the brackets if it comes with any. This makes fitting it on the tractor much easier.

Another problem you may run into is the Allis tends to be wider in the front grill area than most tractors. Make sure the loader arms are wide enough to clear the grill.

Just about any loader can be made to fit any tractor. Some are much easier than others though. The last one I did was a JD 175 loader on a Farmall 544. All I had to do is drill a few new holes. Best thing to do is get out your tape and take some measurements of your tractor and compare them to the loader.

There is a guy down the road that has a 2350 on a 7040. Im not sure what was done to make it fit, but it does and works well. The "breakout force" of a loader is not the lifting capacity but the force the bucket has to curl under a load. If the loader is rated for 3500 it will lift 3500 throughout its lift range. The 5000lb "breakout force" will not make the loader lift more.

Thanks for clearing that up for me Dan. I didnt know if break out force was what it could lift off the ground (ie, breaking out a stuck rock or something), or what it meant exactly.

My yard forklift is a JCB 525 telahandler. 4x4 with 5000 lb. capacity to 22.' It has a Perkins engine and is the handiest thing you will ever own. Mine is a 1988 and I'm sure you could find a good one for under $10G. We also have a material bucket. We have 2 newer larger JCB's as jobsite machines. The big one can handle 10,000 lbs to 44'.

Don't have a 210 so I'm not for sure but I don't think the 190 would be my choice for a loader tractor.I had one and had trouble with the light front ends the 190's have.Have a 7045 and makes a much better loader tractor.

most AC's come with only 2200lbs hyd pressure. you will have to shim the pump to 2500lbs. It's a cheap ez job. without making sure the pump puts out 2500lbs, you may be disappointed in the lifting power.

I have a 2250 w/ joystick I put on a D19. Made the brackets. Couple hundred bucks in steel and some time. Going to put it on the 190 hopefully soon. D19 isn't the greatest loader tractor.
