Just cut up culitvator and sickel bar mower and sent it to the scrap yard. Short steel is $275 a ton. In about a year 75 people will be driving around in them.

Good for you! You give me the inspiration to do the same thing with some of these hitches I got laying around wasting space! Think I'll get the torch fired up tonight!

Are you looking for a sickle mower for a B? I took one off of my B a number of years ago, and it is starting to look like I won't be needing it. I am in central IA. This is the only photo I have, it sure looks cold in the picture. Yuck.

Yeah I've been kicking it around. Unfortunately, IA. is quite a bit of real estate away. Was hoping to find something a bit closer. Not in any hurry...

Agreed-distance is a problem. I doubt it will be going anywhere, so who knows? Something might work out.

Hey Steve, I have a B/C sickle bar mower that I'll sell cheap... I don't want to see it go for scrap. It's complete just came off a parts tractor, needs a few gaurds and blades, even have the pto pulley. $100.00? It can stay here a bit too! Tim in NY

Hey Tim! Just read yer' post. I took some time out from cleaning up the fallen tree's on the property from the suprise winter storm. I may just take you up on that! How tough is it to get blades n' guards?

Steve, blades and gaurds shouldn't be a problem, I may even have some used gaurds...if I can find them! It's here if you want it!
