I agree with R.W. That is a VERY HARD question. I've only have a WC and a D14 and they are both very amazing tractors. My friend has a B and a 310 mower and his uncle has a 6040. They are all great as well. It is hard to believe that AC could go under when they produced such high quailty products. Oh K, G purrs. This is one of those questions desighed to start a fight. CA group this size will never agree on one. UC, we will always be 180 off. IB for this one and U for A different one. C, that is why I beleive AC made so many, so U can B happy with whatever. Take a D21. Do U think we all will 100 % love it? Maybe it's more like 7030, 6040, or 5050 of us? Just as long as the ac works on a hot day and I have a cab with a good heater and a ps trans to move snow. Sounds like a 7045 Power Shift to me.

Our WD45 gas - our children started driving the WD45 then the 8030 fwd.

I use my tractors for jobs around the farm. In order. D-15 II 3 pt (bush hog), D-17IV diesel 3pt (6 row cultivator), D-21 II duals ( 25' cultivator), D-12 III 3pt ( finishing mower) I wish the D-12 had power steering . As a extra note, I purchased some personal things from Norm Swinford a few years ago and part of the notes where his recomendations for the D-15 III which never got built. We got the 160 instead.

There aren't many that I don't like! I always enjoy answering this question. However, I think all know. The B It was the tractor that made Pop's Dealership. It was presented at the right time. It was so well and basically designed that it lasted 20 years. An outstanding machine. One of the three along with the WC and the 60 All Crop that made Allis Chalmers. Good Luck! Bill Long |

| I have owned 5 AC's over the years-CA with NF and 2 row cultivators;WD45 gas with NF and PS;D-14 with NF and PS;D-17(3) gas with NF and PS AND My favorite by far is my 1974 200 with cab and air with the later style power director control. IT is comfortable,powerful,fuel efficient it is one of the few models AC made with the throttle where it should be--In right side console!!!! |

i would have to say my favorite would be a 20-35 longfender, d21,unstyled wc,a,u,e,wd/wd45
oh and 8550 and 220fwa ------------- wd with a freeman model 90 trip loader, wd45, 38 unstylled wc, b 10 garden tractor and 2-14 ac trip plow. grandpa has a 56 wd45. wd. allis chalmers snap coupler blade and 3 bottom snap coupler plow |
